"Without Him Where Would We Be?"

Today on Pro Wrestling World Ryan Stone spoke about Roger Ruffen. As he signed off on his interview he said the quote "Roger doesn't get enough love from fellow wrestlers.....Without Him, Where would we be?" It's a very vaild point that people may not really know they are taking for granted.

In Japan would Karl Anderson be such a big name if it hadn't been for Roger Ruffen? Would the Monster Abyss be a former NWA World Champion had it not been for Roger Ruffen? Had it not been for Roger Ruffen would "Wildcat" Chris Harris jump off a cage and do a leg drop that imprints a memory in many wrestling fans minds forever?

A while back I did an interview with Chad Allegra who is known in Japan as Karl Anderson. In the interview I asked him the question How do you feel the people in NWF such as Roger Ruffen had prepared you for the success you have had so far in your career?
His response: Roger is the core reason why I am where I am today. If it wasn't for him and his teachings and him keeping me level headed, then I would have never amounted to anything. Roger, Kirk, Sin D, Rob The Bomb Williams just to name a few were the most influential at the start of my career, along with all of the boys being there for me.

Anyone who has trained for the Northern Wrestling Federation always walked out with a sole respect for Roger, rather we were working on his show, went on to leave wrestling, or became journalists we all respect & want to work for Roger Ruffen. Roger has been everywhere there is to be in Wrestling, including being at WrestleMania to referee such great matches as Bret Hart vs. Roddy Piper.

We should all be appreciative of Roger Ruffen and what he has done for Cincinnati Wrestling, Independent Wrestling, hell even Wrestling in general.

I appreciate the knowledge Roger taught me, and when that day comes that I can train again, I'll train for "the Man"

Special thanks

If you missed the show today we had Ryan Stone on the show with us, Ryan talked about his career, his idols, his relationship with Roger Ruffen, and much more. Listen to the show this week for the interview and the many other things we cover and just a little hint......Big Things to come on Pro Wrestling World

Ryan Stone & Jay Donaldson vs. Matt Parks & Karl Anderson

Tomorrow's guest is NWF Champion Ryan Stone. For those who don't follow Independent Wrestling this guy is a great Wrestler, I thought it'd be a great idea to share a great Ryan Stone match where he teams with Jay Donaldson against the team of The Machine Gun Chad Allegra (known as Karl Anderson in NJPW) & Matt Parks, also you may recognize the guest referee in the match as "Wildcat" Chris Harris. Ryan & Jay are the compeitiors with Bandannas on. Enjoy

Saturday, September 19, 2009

NWF Champion Ryan Stone will be joining the gang on Pro Wrestling World this Tuesday at 5:30. Ryan will be chatting about his upcoming match with Abyss, & his current stature in the NWF.

Jeff Hardy Gets Arrested for Drug Trafficking!

In not so shocking news yesterday we found out that former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy was arrested for charges of Drug Trafficking after Police had raided his house and found countless amounts of Drugs. This is a Disappointment to a man who put his last stop in the WWE on a Pedastil waiting to be touched. Jeff is someone loved by many of the WWE fans and is someone we all have witnessed do things we can only dream of doing, with that being said Jeff has a history of occurrences with Drug abuse.

Update to Breaking Point card

Well folks Christian vs. William Regal has been added to the Breaking Point card although taking the role of the John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler match, which is kinda a bittersweet decision by the WWE writers. John Cena vs. Randy Orton (I Quit Match WWE Title)

Undetaker vs. CM Punk (Submission Match World Heavyweight Championship)

ODB vs. Cody Deaner (Intergender Match for the TNA Knockout Title).......
Abyss vs. Kevin Nash (TNA Legends/ $50,000 bounty challenge)
Rhino vs. Bobby Lashley (Lashley's TNA Wrestling Debut)
Kurt Angle vs. Matt Morgan vs. Sting vs. AJ Styles (TNA World Title match)
(Matches may be added this week on Impact)
Okay.....Wow #1 Cody Deaner vs. ODB? Seriously? #2 I understand Lashley is making his return to the ring which is great and all but not like this.

Breaking Point Card

Well guys this sunday on Pay Per View WWE brings us Breaking Point where we will have many exciting matches to look forward to and here's the card.

John Cena vs. Randy Orton (I Quit Match for the WWE Title)

Undertaker vs. CM Punk (Submission Match for the World Heavyweight Title)

DX vs. Legacy (Submissions Count Anywhere)

John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler (Intercontinental Title)

Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. MVP & Mark Henry (Unifited Tag Title Match)

Great Khali vs. Kane (Singapore Cain Match)

This pay per view looks very exciting with a lot of great matches. I'm having a really hard time getting excited for Kane vs. Khali honestly. In my eyes Christian vs. William Regal should easily take that spot.

WWE must've Listened to the Palace of Wisdom

As you heard this week we all gave our arguments on why John Morrison should be Intercontinential Champion and folks he was just that. Morrison defeated Rey in a match on Smackdown which will air this friday to win his 3rd IC belt. Something the group here at Pro Wrestling World kept saying should happen did happen. I personally look forward to a John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler Feud. Well Michael Hayes, Congratulations on a great call here, WWE fans the Palace of Wisdom continues
