"Without Him Where Would We Be?"

Today on Pro Wrestling World Ryan Stone spoke about Roger Ruffen. As he signed off on his interview he said the quote "Roger doesn't get enough love from fellow wrestlers.....Without Him, Where would we be?" It's a very vaild point that people may not really know they are taking for granted.

In Japan would Karl Anderson be such a big name if it hadn't been for Roger Ruffen? Would the Monster Abyss be a former NWA World Champion had it not been for Roger Ruffen? Had it not been for Roger Ruffen would "Wildcat" Chris Harris jump off a cage and do a leg drop that imprints a memory in many wrestling fans minds forever?

A while back I did an interview with Chad Allegra who is known in Japan as Karl Anderson. In the interview I asked him the question How do you feel the people in NWF such as Roger Ruffen had prepared you for the success you have had so far in your career?
His response: Roger is the core reason why I am where I am today. If it wasn't for him and his teachings and him keeping me level headed, then I would have never amounted to anything. Roger, Kirk, Sin D, Rob The Bomb Williams just to name a few were the most influential at the start of my career, along with all of the boys being there for me.

Anyone who has trained for the Northern Wrestling Federation always walked out with a sole respect for Roger, rather we were working on his show, went on to leave wrestling, or became journalists we all respect & want to work for Roger Ruffen. Roger has been everywhere there is to be in Wrestling, including being at WrestleMania to referee such great matches as Bret Hart vs. Roddy Piper.

We should all be appreciative of Roger Ruffen and what he has done for Cincinnati Wrestling, Independent Wrestling, hell even Wrestling in general.

I appreciate the knowledge Roger taught me, and when that day comes that I can train again, I'll train for "the Man"
